Meet Jessie

Jessie L. VanCamp graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law, with distinction, in 2012. She was admitted to the North Dakota Bar in 2012, and the Minnesota Bar in 2013. She is licensed to practice in North Dakota State and Federal Courts, and Minnesota State Courts. She is a member of the North Dakota State Bar Association, the Greater Grand Forks Bar Association, and the Minnesota Bar Association. Prior to attending law school Jess attended the University of North Dakota where she received her B.A. in Philosophy.

 Jess practices in all areas of family law, including divorce, custody, parenting time, non-parent custody/visitation, adoption, guardianship, and premarital agreements. She has also completed training in collaborative law. Jess also handles juvenile court matters and criminal cases, and serves on the CJA Panel offering indigent defense services to those facing federal charges.

In addition to direct representation, Jess also offers multiple services as a neutral. She is a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. In Minnesota Jess offers services as a mediator, a custody/parenting time evaluator, and a parenting time expeditor. In North Dakota Jess offers services as a Parenting Investigator, and is on the statewide roster of Parenting Investigators.

In her free time, Jess enjoys spending time with her family, doing home renovation projects, fishing, and traveling.
